Receives Event::Pointer Up variant — fired when a pointer button is released.

§Routing

Spatially hit-tested at the pointer location, then dispatched via Capture → Target → Bubble. If the pointer is captured by an element, routed directly to that element instead.

§Default Actions (preventable with cx.prevent_default())

  • Ends any active drag (fires DragSourceEvent::End or DragSourceEvent::Cancel depending on whether a target accepted).
  • Releases pointer capture unconditionally.
  • On non-macOS platforms: shows context menu on secondary button release.
